Steps
-
Step 1
Connect a Stripe account
From Dashboard → Payouts choose Setup payouts now. You pick a country, Yaff creates a Standard connected account (card payments + transfers), and Stripe’s Account Link collects identity and bank details.
-
Step 2
Accept a payment
Memberships create a Stripe Subscription on your connected account. Product and tip checkouts create a PaymentIntent. Yaff’s platform fee is taken as an application fee on that charge.
-
Step 3
See balance and payouts
Dashboard → Payouts lists Stripe payouts and your outstanding balance (pending + available) for the connected account. Manage payouts in Stripe opens the Stripe dashboard for that account.
Timing
When the connected account is created, Yaff sets the Stripe payout schedule interval to daily. The day money actually reaches your bank is still Stripe’s decision — new accounts and some countries take longer (often a few days) before the first payout. Help copy elsewhere that says “2–7 days” is describing typical Stripe bank timing, not a second Yaff hold.
Currencies (NZD, AUD and others)
Membership currency is the one you chose on the tier (USD, NZD, AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP). Your Stripe balance and payout currency come from Stripe for that connected account. Yaff does not convert payouts itself.
If charges are not enabled
Stripe may ask for more identity documents. The dashboard surfaces outstanding requirement errors from Stripe. Paid checkout will not complete until charges_enabled is true and Yaff has marked the account onboarded.
