A platform fee is the cut the membership host takes from each payment, separate from the card network’s processing fee.
Yaff Starter takes 5% (User::DEFAULT_APPLICATION_FEE_RATE). While Creator ($19/mo) or Pro ($99/mo) is trialing or active, Yaff’s cut is 0%. The fee is applied as a Stripe application fee on charges and subscriptions.
A $20 membership on Starter sends $1 to Yaff before Stripe’s processing fee.
No. Stripe processing is extra. Yaff does not publish a bundled card rate.
