How to add Yaff to your YouTube description and links

The growth move is a plain URL. Yaff’s YouTube connection is for pulling comments into the dashboard — it does not publish videos to YouTube or add the link for you.

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Copy your page URL

    Use https://yaff.io/yourname — the username you set in Settings → Profile.

  2. Step 2

    Paste it on the channel

    YouTube Studio → Customization → Basic info for the channel description and website link. Add the same URL to video descriptions, community posts and end screens.

  3. Step 3

    Optional: connect YouTube inside Yaff

    Creators can connect one YouTube channel (OAuth) so YouTube comments appear alongside Yaff comments. A channel can only be linked to one Yaff account. This does not sync uploads and is unrelated to the paid /youtube channel-review tool.

What to write

One line is enough: “Members get the unedited days — photo dumps, videos and chat at yaff.io/yourname.” Avoid calling it a donation if you are selling a membership.

Frequently asked questions

Does connecting YouTube add the link for me?

No. The connection is for comments. You still paste the URL yourself.

Can I have two YouTube channels on one Yaff page?

No. One YouTube channel per Yaff account, and that channel cannot already be connected to someone else.
