Custom domain and branding

Branding controls exist for every creator. A custom domain (yourname.com) is not implemented, on Pro or otherwise.

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Avatar and name

    Settings → Profile. JPEG or PNG avatar, 5MB max. This image is also used for social sharing when present.

  2. Step 2

    Bio, hero, colour, profile video

    Settings → Appearance. Bio is plain text (used in search descriptions). Hero image (JPEG/PNG/WebP, 5MB). Theme colour from a fixed list of Tailwind colour names. Optional profile video (MP4/MOV/AVI, 500MB) processed through Mux and shown on the public page.

  3. Step 3

    Skip custom domains

    Your public URL is https://yaff.io/yourname. There is no settings field, DNS flow or Pro-only domain mapping in the app.

What Pro actually changes

Pro is $99/mo with a 0% platform fee and a 1,000-supporter cap. It does not gate branding, video, chat or ebooks. Those are available on Starter.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own domain on Pro?

Not in the current product. If marketing ever promised this, treat it as unavailable until it ships.

Is profile video Pro-only?

No.
