Fan funding (sometimes called crowdfunding for creators) is when an audience pays the person directly — memberships, tips or campaigns — rather than a brand or a platform ad share.
Yaff’s version is recurring memberships, one-off product sales and optional tips. There is no campaign thermometer. For a one-off emergency target, a GoFundMe-style page may still fit better.
