Posting content is one thing. Building a movement is another. If you want real traction, fans who show up month after month to support your journey, you need to give them more than content. You need to give them a cause, a reason, a story to join. Make them FEEL real emotions.
A tribe forms around shared identity. That might be a mission ("I'm trying to become the first in my family to compete internationally"), a belief ("Adventure is a mindset"), or a feeling ("Life is better outside the comfort zone"). Whatever your message, make it clear, consistent, and bigger than you.
The most magnetic creators invite their audience to be part of the journey, not just watch it. They give their people something to belong to. When supporters feel like they’re part of a tribe—not just a transaction—they engage more deeply and stick around longer. One of my favorite YouTubers is Lauren Landers. Yes, I can identify with her because I lived on a boat. But I didn't do it solo. I never climbed the mast alone half-way into a Pacific crossing, I never sailed vast oceans with just my cat for company. My story was a full family affair. But when I watch Lauren's videos and hear her talk about her daily life, she draws me in and I cannot help but feel inspired by her bravery and her choice to live outside of the norms of society to achieve something great for herself. I'm always excited to see what she's up to each week. Check her out for yourself:

So yes, post. But also rally. Stand for something. Build something others can believe in. Movements start with one person daring to be real.
