Vibes are HIGH

Vibes are super high today because it’s our last day at sea before arriving tomorrow evening. I think we’re all ready to switch up the routine after a month in the on the water. Ready to use our legs again, see something other than open ocean, and film content that isn’t just sailing.

Honestly, I feel like seeing land tomorrow is going to be sensory overload. Not in some dramatic way, but after a month without land, I think normal life is going to feel almost surreal again. Pretty crazy to say we went almost an entire month without seeing it.

The days since the Galápagos have just blurred together. The crossing went by fast somehow, even though there were definitely some really low moments mixed in there too (yesterday being the lowest). But I’ve learned a lot from this trip and I wanna record the major lessons tomorrow.

Weirdly, I’m almost nervous to leave the routine we built out here. I think this trip made me realize how much I like consistency and structure, even in the middle of the ocean.

Super excited for my final night shift tonight though. Going to sit out under the night sky for the whole thing and just enjoy it. The stars and shooting stars the last few nights have been unreal.
