Fakarava South Pass

Fakarava’s South Pass is unreal.

We spent the day snorkeling and scuba diving here, and it’s one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been underwater. Hundreds, maybe even thousands, of sharks cruising through the pass, huge schools of fish everywhere, and one of the healthiest reefs I’ve ever seen. Having water flow through the past keeps it super clear.

The island itself is just as special. Quiet, very tiny, and it feels like you’ve reached the edge of the world.
