Bahammas 🇧🇸

We made it to the Bahamas!!! One of my favorite places in the world. The water is unreal, the beaches go on forever, and the wind is perfect for water sports.

Our first mission was fueling up since we had been motoring straight into the wind from Florida. After that, we headed to Conception Island, a super remote and beautiful spot.

We spent four days there wing foiling, diving, hanging on the beach, and just enjoying life on the boat.

Last summer I was invited to join the Bahamas crew, where Sailing Zatara brought a group of young adults on board for a month and sailed the Bahamas. It was the same style of group trip, I first got invited on Zatara almost three years ago in Greece. I almost said yes to the Bahamas trip but decided it was not the right season of life, and I thought that was probably my last chance to be back on the boat.

But now I am here in the Bahamas living it up 😁

These past few days reminded me how much I enjoy staying in one place, slowing down, and actually being present instead of constantly chasing the next destination.

But we have weather windows to catch and places to be, so we are off to Turks and Caicos.
